I know I haven’t posted anything in a while, but I’ve been busy working on a variety of projects. I appreciate the likes and views that have been steady for a while. I know there’s one or three of you who really liked the comic strips. I guess I need to get better at scheduling my time and letting people know what I’m doing.
I have another comic book in the “Rejected Breakfast” series that’s been taking up most of my time. I’d say about half of it is inked or close to being ready to scan. It will take a lot of time to finish penciling, inking, scanning and coloring. There will be 44 pages, total, in book 3, same as the first two books in the series (available on Amazon).
I’ve been working on four different written novels, mostly just the one, but solid starts on three others. When one loses steam, I switch to another project. A vicious cycle. I’m reading a lot of novels at night and learning to get better at writing. I have a lot to learn, but I feel I’m making progress.
I started getting some comic strips ready to post here, but I’m not sure when I’ll be able to do that. I have a week’s worth ready to be scanned and colored. I usually work at least two weeks in advance, so I may be able to start posting soon, but no promises now.
Another thing that has been taking up a lot of my time is acrylic painting and guitar playing. The paintings I started and posted about in the past just take a lot of time to finish right. All the details I like to add, make the progress slow going.
I’d like to have more to show for all the efforts, but I haven’t taken any photos or videos. Trust me, I want to be able to post more, I just have too much on my plate to do any one project the justice it deserves.
Thanks for understanding and for reading this. I want to get something out there for all to see soon, but most likely I’ll need at least a few weeks to figure that out.
